 Training  Corporate Collaboration  Placement

The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) forms part of the Department of Human Resources Development of the Institution, headed by Prof. P.N. Koul, Dean (HR), and includes Industry Institution Liaison Cell (IILC). The department not only lays stress on the corporate training of the students once they join the institution, but also guides them to be self-confident and be better human beings.

The training deals with making the student feel confident and develop both leadership as well as a managerial quality. The department has developed a work-plan, which includes lectures by the specialist in public speaking, confidence building, stress and time management and attitudinal development. The group discussions and Mock-interviews are arranged with active participation of students and faculty and give the students a participative and positive-thinking approach. Such activities form regular features of the department and spread over the full academic calendar without affecting the normal schedule of teaching. The teaching-learning procedures are made more effective through demonstration of the professional skills.

The Department has the following staff:

1. Prof. P.N. Koul, Dean (HR)

2. Mr. Sunil Raina, Placement Officer
