Transferring
to Purdue University alumet Top
Transferring to Purdue University Calumet is
easy. Applicants who have attended GCET or another engineering
college under UPTU up to 3rd year of engineering or are
in sixth semester in Computer Science or Information Technology
or Electronics & communication/Electronics & Instrumentation
or Mechanical Engineering programs must submit an application
to GCET, Greater Noida for admission to 4th Year of engineering
program at Purdue University, Calumet with high school
transcript and complete a Transfer Credit Documentation
Sheet. Students who wish to transfer non-Purdue coursework
from an accredited institution must submit an official
transcript. Credits must be from AICTE accredited institution
under UPTU in which a student received a grade of 60%
or better. The students should also clear the TOEFEL examination
with minimum of 215% marks, before being considered for
admission.

Connecting minds with the rest of the world is the
purpose of the Purdue University Calumet Library. The
Library helps students learn strategies and skills for
locating information and using it effectively for class
work. The Library Web site library.calumet.purdue.edu
is a link to scholarly information in all formats -
books, journals, reference guides, newspapers and archives.
Services for the user, including interlibrary loan,
reference assistance and requests for purchase, are
available 24-7 via links on the Library's Web site.
The Reference Desk, located in the center of the Library,
is the place for students to begin their research. The
Library faculty, staff and student assistants help students
learn in today's complex information environment. It
provides individual assistance to each student. Open
75 hours per week, the Library is a haven for student
learning. The Library learning environment includes
such amenities as an electronic classroom, study rooms
for group projects, leisure seating for quiet conversation,
a meeting place and individual carrels for quiet study.
