GCTII MSME Research & Incubator

GCTII - 'Galgotias Centre for Technical Innovation & Incubation' is a technology driven business incubator & Entrepreneurship (e) - Cell within the premises of GCET.

GCTII is being run by a highly efficient multi-member Board which is chaired by Dr.V.K. Dwivedi, Director, GCET and headed by Dr.S.K. Verma under the patronage of Mr. Sunil Galgotia, Chairman and Mr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO.

GCTII has been envisioned to become a world class technology driven incubator and provide a universal platform for research and development for the benefits of budding entrepreneurs, corporate houses & the society at large.

Objectives

REGISTRATION PROCESS

GCTII undertakes both on-campus (Regular) and off-Campus (virtual) incubation.

On-Campus Incubation

Proposals are invited from startups in areas such as Functional food, Bioinformatics, I-T solutions, Agri-tech, Manufacturing Process, Medical Science, Electronics and Engineering Products, Solar Energy, Nuclear Science, Robotics, Rural Development, etc.

These proposals should be presented to in two page summary. The proposal should include objectives and business plans for the proposed venture. The business plan should include a brief introduction, including a description of the service or product you intend to provide.

The Project Monitoring Committee consisting of Professors and representatives from industries, MSME who will evaluate and examine the proposals. Once the proposals are selected the representative of the company will be invited to GCTII campus to make a presentation.

On successful presentation the committee along with a representative of Startup Company will discuss the allotment of space, facility, duration of the period for such allocation and the relevant charges which any case will be far lower than the company decided to rent such facility in and around the city. Then the selected proposals will be sent to Government bodies, institutional investors, MSME, etc, for funding.

Virtual Incubation

GCTII also supports and mentors the promising startups running successfully their enterprises with its in house labs and facilities.

Anchor Companies

GCTII also encourages the anchor companies to develop new products, processes, independently or in collaboration with GCTII under the guidance of a mentor & Coordinator. Such facilities normally are given for an extended period of time 1-5 years and relevant charges for such facilities will be intimated on discussion with the company concerned.
