The department of Mechanical Engineering is being headed by Dr V.K.Dwivedi. Professor Dwivedi is Mechanical Engineering graduate from Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College Gorakhpur, Master of Engineering in Design of Process Machines from Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College Allahabad and Ph.D from IIT Delhi. He has very rich experience of 17 years in Teaching, Research and Industry. His area of research is Heat Transfer and Thermal sciences. He has published 15 research paper in reputed International journals of high impact factor and many paper in International Conference. He has successfully guided two Ph.D students and presently guiding two Ph.D students in the area of Solar Thermal. He has also authored one book on Heat and Mass Transfer. He has delivered many lectures in IIT Delhi during QIP courses conducted in the Centre for Energy Studies.
10 + 2 Examination with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects along with one subject Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology with minimum 50% and UPSEE / AIEEE qualified.
