The college has well-stocked
rich library with over 12,000 titles and 25,000 volumes and
is in the process of procuring a few more thousand books on
various topics in Management, Information Technology, Computer
Science, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation Engineering
and other professional books. The reference section of the
library houses latest editions on prescribed books as well
as high value books to satisfy thirst for knowledge of our
students. Audio-visual material, training material, and periodicals
augment the existing corpus of knowledge. We are the member
of British Council and American Reference Libraries.
Book - Bank
In addition to a well maintained library, the college has
a rich Book- Bank exclusively for students. Under this novel
project called Book- Bank, every student deposits Rs.1500
and gets six books in a given semester for exhaustive personal
use. The books are to be returned at the end of the semester
and a fresh set of books are issued at the commencement of
a new semester. Out of the deposited amount, Rs.1000 is refundable
at the time of completion of the course.
Faculty, Labs, Class Rooms & Teaching Methodology
The faculty of our college is comparable with the best. In
all its pursuits, it endeavors to realize academic rigor and
conceptual sophistication - the two pre-requisites for professional
excellence. The faculty is encouraged to incorporate state-of
the- art audio- visual aids in pedagogical pursuits.
All computer labs are air-conditioned. We have developed a
well-equipped workshop for training of students in the first
year course.
Ours is one of the few colleges in UP which conduct Tutorial
classes regularly, as done at most of the IITs. This is consistent
with the stipulation laid down by the MMMM UP Technical University.
The class strength is maintained around 60 students per class,
and tutorials are conducted in small batches of 20 each. Separate
classes are conducted for weak students, and for those with
poor background in English. One counselor for 20 students
is appointed. Students can go to him/her for any help and
guidance. If required, students can approach Principal Counselor/Dean
(Student Affairs).
