Dr. Naveen Prakash who has recently taken over as Director, GCET, has a doctoral degree from IIT Delhi in Computer Science and has about 35 years experience in teaching and R&D. He has spent approximately 10 years in National Research Laboratories, ten years in industrial R&D and about 15 years in teaching and research.

Dr. Prakash has about 50 publications in international journals and conferences and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Requirements Engineering Journal. He has been a consultant to a number of organizations like Educational Consultants of India Ltd., Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank, and the World Bank.

His current research interests are in Method Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Requirements Engineering.
