The forces of globalization are shaping a
new
India,
one that is internationally competitive, producing the
best products for the international
market with latest
technology and the best management processes.
The Indian of tomorrow has to be a global citizen,
multi-cultural, multi-lingual, and
multi-national. The
emerging
India must respect other people, must
learn to live and work with other people, must cater
to the needs and choices of the international
community.
The Indian job market today has complex requirements. Not only
should our graduating
engineers be proficient in the use of technology, they
should also have good
communication and inter
personal skills, domain and
process knowledge.
Indian industry needs engineers good at problem
solving in the widest sense. They must be total
solution providers and not
merely technical solution
providers. The educational
approach of GCET is oriented towards producing such
human resources for modern
India.
I
invite all those candidates who
share the vision of GCET to
join us and create the India of the new century.
I again welcome you at GCET !
