DEAN (Academics)

Dr. Pardeep Kumar has 16 years of teaching & research experience. He did his B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics from Delhi University, M.Sc. from Jamia Millia Islamia and Ph.D. from National Physical Laboratory. He was awarded as Research Associate followship by CSIR and Research Associate followship by DRDO. He has worked as Lecturer (Adhoc) Jamia Millia Islamia, Asstt. Professor Al-Falah School of Engineering and Technology, Faridabad.

Prior to joining as Dean Academics, GCET, he was Professor & Head in Career Institute of Technology & Management (CITM), Manav Rachna Educational Institutions, Faridabad. He was twice being awarded as best faculty award at CITM. His administrative experience at CITM included Dean, MRSC, Head (Career Planning Division), center time table coordinator chief coordinator tech/cultural festival and coordinater & newsletter of MREI web-site.

Dr. Pardeep Kumar has authored 4 books and published 29 research papers in National, International Journals and in the proceedings of International and National conferences. Dr. Pardeep Kumar is a Life Member of Indian Physics Association and Metrological Society of India. His research areas include Laster Photoacoustic, Characterization of materials, ECR Etching & Sol-gel Glass materials. He has contributed in several major research projects in - Jamia Millia Islamia - "Preparation and Spectroscopic Characterization of Sol-gel Glass materials", DSC Project, 'Spectroscopic Characterization of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons and their radical ions trapped in glass', DST project and 'ECR etching of III-V group compound materials', SSPL project. He has also been the chief coordinator of IIPC project being sponsored by AICTE, New Delhi at CITM Faridabad.
