Students are encouraged to participate in various cultural activities like debates, elocution contests, quiz shows and dramatic presentation. Such engagements foster interpersonal relationship and train students to assume individual/ collective responsibility in real - life situation. At a very recent cultural competition at the GNDA we earned commendations.

Besides classroom participation which is the basis for theoretical and conceptual transformations through semester system, it is necessary for the prospective professionals to be more pro-active and adept in acquiring real life techniques. Facilities will be provided for interaction of small groups with other groups to share their experiences in order to provide more effective learning through group discussion encouraging independent ideas and skills to invite healthy criticism from fellow colleagues.

Greater Noida Carnival 2002 was organized by the Greater Noida Authority and celebrated with a series of colourful events .The cultural events, which commenced on 27th Jan, the very first day, was full of sparkling cultural events, which continued on 28th Jan with debate and quiz competitions participated by brilliant students from various colleges, whose performances were thought- provoking, educative and informative.

Students of GCET enhanced richness of cultural events with their all round brilliant performances. Particularly in the cultural bonanza, their performance was extraordinary and outstanding, under the guidance of the CSA (Council of students Affairs) team. comprising Prof. D.K.Sengupta (Convener), Mrs. Madhuri Sehgal (Co. Convener), Ms. Varsha Sharma, Mr. Vishal Bhatnagar, Mr. Vivek Kumar Verma, Members .

The Prize Distribution ceremony was held on the concluding day, 29th Jan, and the same was followed by heart rendering and melodious presentation of vocal music by celebrated vocalist Shri Anoop Jalota who held the entire audience spellbound.
