Academic Senate
The institution has constituted an Academic
Senate to nourish
and sustain academic ambience aimed at
achieving excellence.
The functions of the Senate include:

Matters concerning teaching, courses of
studies, conduct of
examinations and results of the examinations, attendance
and discipline amongst the students

Development of academic infrastructure

Supervision of working of the library

Promotion of quality training and
research

Encourage holding of short-term courses,
symposia etc. for
industries & other institutions

Evaluate continuously the students for
the award of
scholarships, medals and prizes

Arrange corporate training for the
students and expose them
to the functioning of corporate world

Facilitate campus recruitment and improve
their employability

Student counseling and welfare programs

Periodic review of the activities of the
departments

Recommending of career growth procedures
for the faculty
and staff

Supervise the co-curricular and
extra-curricular activities for
the students for their healthy growth in academics, mind
and body
