In 2008-09 results, Saurabh Yadav was the University topper in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with a whopping 83.76%. The meritorious Galgotian was awarded Gold Medal by his Excellency Sh. B.L. Joshi, Governor of Uttar Pradesh & Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Kripa Shankar, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam (Former President of India) and Sh. Sadal Prasad, Hon’ble State Minister, Department of Vocational and Technical Education.
The college beamed with pride by the superb performance of Umang Shrivastav, Nitin Kumar Jain and Sushil Kumar Panday, all UPTU rank holders in B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering).
